Recently, a potential Franchise Owner visited Orlando for a Discovery Day.
He told a story of how, in his previous job, he overcame an issue and turned it to the Company’s advantage. Below is the story about his fireworks experience….
On the 4th of July, at 2:15 PM with 15 families in line to checkout, the alarm system, cash registers and lights, simultaneously turned off. In an instant the business came to a screeching halt. Realizing the entire city block lost power, including a competitor, the situation left few options to restore power quickly.
The first priority was to secure the building, then find a way to restore power. Within 45 minutes, we found a generator at a neighboring house. The generator had enough power for all five cash registers and the store was functional again.
The competitor, on the other hand, was offline for the entire two and a half hours the power was out because they were not responsive to the ever changing circumstances.
This is what Filta looks for in a Franchise Owner. Someone who can overcome adversity when it matters. Luckily for us, the potential Franchise Owner in question is now a current Franchise Owner!
