Following on from Filta’s recent expansions across Europe, Filta are pleased to announce their first Austrian franchise owner, Philipp Kastan.
Kastan, aged 39 is an Austrian national who has previously worked as a logistics manager for Hofer KG and will partner FiltaFry in the Tyrol region.
Kastan is nearing the end of his training after completing his one week theory during record summer temperatures. However, things are going smoothly and he is expected to launch as an independent franchise owner from 20th August.
This is a date Philipp is very much looking forward to who commented “I am very curious as to how the Austrian restaurants will find the service and to demonstrate to them how FiltaFry can help them.”
“In my view, there is huge potential for commercial kitchens that wish to work more efficiently, safely and cost effectively while relieving their employees. In addition, more and more restaurants are focusing on sustainability and resource conservation when it comes to the use of food” adds Kastan.
Despite not yet completing his training, Kastan already has his first customer awaiting his services, (Mömax Innsbruck) a large furniture store similar to IKEA in his home town of Tyrol.
Kastan has big ambitions to grow his business into a multi-van operation in the near future and has already begun actively looking for his first employee!
